Leader: Magistrate Rhaegar Solterran
Description: Lyrica lies at the mouth of a pass leading out to into the plains of the Dothraki Sea. A single road crafted by the fallen Valyrian empire runs through the center of the pass. There was an ancient wall built across the mouth of the pass. The wall on west side of the road is the northern boundary of the town so has been maintained very well. The wall on the east side of the road is now a pile of rocks in the vague shape of a wall. The town runs along the road for several miles, and is completely encased in a well crafted wall. There are two gates into the town. One from leading to the Valyria Road. The other is west into the mountains. There is a road there running up to the abandoned Mine.
Magistrate Building: A large almost castle like building where the Magistrate lives and rules the city. This building over looks the walls of the city, and was designed to act as a defensive measure to forces trying to take the gates of the city. The Magistrate family also lives here: his wife Juno; his Eldest son, Mercus(24); his eldest daughter, Trema(23); his middle daughter, Diana (19); his youngest daughter, Cera(17); and his younger son, Neptus(15). His master of the house also resides here, Jascar of Ghis. The remainder of his household number thirty slaves.
Barracks: A large building running quite close to the Magistrate's building. This large building was built to house thousands of soldiers. Now only one hundred men call this building home. The soldiers are commanded by Pleon Tarasque. Pleon is in his fifties, and is a lifelong soldier in the Valyrian army. This is the first command the man has ever had.
The Legacy of the Hearth: This large building is an inn and Tavern quite close to the Magistrate building, laying just across a small square. This upscale inn is run by Sevedus Hearth. His family has run this inn or close to two thousand years if you listen to him. And if you visit his inn you will most certainly listen to him. He runs the inn with his daughter Aurelia(23). Both generations of Hearth have been married, and lost their spouses. Sevedus' wife passed away birthing his daughter, and Aurelia's husband was a soldier who marched south after the Doom. They are aided by Sevedus' crazy uncle Vagos, and his lazy brother Crios. Crios twin daughters also help run the inn, they are named Raiza and Camra. Crios' wife Delinda used to help, but her health is failing her and she spends most of her days abed these days.
Southwall: Southwall is always considered the second inn of Lyrica. They have a long legacy of being an afterthought to the Legacy, and Master Graskins hates the Hearths with a passion almost unmatched. Graskins has passed his hate to his wife, Krilia and family, a boy named Trion(19) and a girl named Lilia(14). Graskins has come up with a thousand plans to make his inn better then the legacy, and all have failed. And now with the new inn doing so well, Graskins has become almost a walking cist of bitterness.
The Outwaller: The only inn outside the walls of the town, the Outwaller lies across the Valyrain road from the town proper. The owner is a man who calls himself Davos, but most people call him Blue because of the tattoos on his face and hands. For all of that he is a pleasant man, and gets along well with all of his patrons. His inn is not even a decade old, but has stolen much of Southwall's business. This is because of his wife, Nymeria Kin du Alharia. While he runs the inn, and prepares the food and drinks, she stands on the outdoor stage next to his building, and plays heavenly music. Her exotic dusky skin, and long blue black hair that runs down to her knees make her clearly the most beautiful woman in the town. There are several strange festivals that her people celebrate, and on those days she sings for the crowds clad only in her hair.
The Spears of the North: This tavern stands close to the barracks. While not an inn there are several rooms with beds. The owner Beren is beginning to panic, with the soldiers all leaving the Town, his business has been extremely slow for almost a year now. He used to have a dozen girls who worked in the back, but is now down to just five girls. His wife Mylia runs the whores, and works as well. There are two sisters from Lyrica named Sylia and Dezi who work here to keep their familes fed. Kah was from a tribe on the Dothraki plain that was destroyed. She managed to just barely make it all the way to Lyrica on foot. Asgrid is a blonde plump beauty who is most popular girl of the house.
Wentel's: Is the creaky old tavern that lies right next to the west gate. Wentel's used to service the miners, but when the mine closed that business all dried up. The owner is an older lady name Erasque, and she has come to cater to the underbelly of the town. The filthy inn is served by her two daughters; Hella(19) and Iona(17). Erasque has been known to rent out their company for then evening for the right price.
The Smithy: The Smith is a hulking man named Aleppo one-hand. He runs the business alone with his bastard son Simeon Dragoneye.
The Market: The town's market is right in the center of town. Almost every stall will fill on a Market Day, but almost every day one farmer or Herdsman will come into town to hawk their wares. The Market is run by a ancient man named Quaryn. He spends all day arguing with any one who will stop for a moment.
Medilyn Manse: Humberto Medilyn was the owner of the dried up mine, and even though the iron dwindled away, his gold still has deep stores. He lives alone in his hom with his daughter Nylia(30). She has silver hair, and haunting light blue eyes. The two rarely leave his compound with own his house slaves doing most of the work. He also has ten elite guardsman that he bought long ago. And while many slaves are poorly treated, those ten are treated like close friends, and have grown very loyal to their master.
Estates of Illiyana Revarlyon: Illiyana(27) is the scion of a powerful Valyrian trading house, but for all she knows, she could be the last member alive. Her estates are outside of the town walls, and also serve as a way station on her trading network. Caravans heading out to the plains, and back across the mountains all stop her to resupply and refresh. She has two hundred men stationed here, of whom most are fighters of some sort. Not soldiers truly, but guards and brawlers. She has built a small arena, and often has gladiator fights in their to amuse herself, and her men. These are a strictly invite only activity.
