Ok who wants to start setting things up? I'll pass the admin account details on to anyone who wants to do this. Haha oops, I forgot to use the other browser to post my message!

I'll start transferring over and adapting the Green Ronin stuff when I get home from work. I'll at least try to have the character creation rules up and ready so folks can get started making their characters if they wish.

Cool! Quite a few people are already in the process of making their chars. I, on the other hand, was hoping to wait until most things were set up before I do mine in full. I must get my words down!

We need to think about the use of poison. I was asked about this so I looked it up in the book and then here. From what I can determine, the success of the poison is rolled against the victim's Endurance and the preset strength of the poison itself but I can see no references to a poison mixing skill. It might be an idea to think about that, and also about the delivery which in some cases might need to be rolled against Stealth i.e. slipping it into someone's drink. But as far as the success is concerned, I think we should either leave it as it is or possibly put it as a Healing subskill since anyone who uses poisons probably has at minimum some knowledge of antidotes.

I'd say just follow the rules in the book. There are probably a number of skills needed to make poison, all which we could be filled by different people. Survival to find the ingredients, knowledge to know what you need, and healing to actually make it. It'd be based on where the poison comes from. Strangler requires a lot of steps, so a lot of different skills. Manticore venom on the other hand probably just requires Survival for the purposes of huntin a manticore and acquiring its venom.
As for rolls to use the poison, it'd depend on if it's a venom or poison. Poison would have to be ingested so you'd likely need a stealth (sleight of hand) roll to put it in their drink or food unless they aren't in the room. Venom would just need to be applied to a weapon and requires no skill to use.
However, someone that just buys poison in a marketplace...I'd say they're good to go. The issue is none of us could afford high end poisons at the moment.

L rules the world!
Also, anyone with access to the admin account, the Essos category has a spelling mistake in the title.
Essod.

The world book says you can use Essos or Essod interchangeably.
